dc.description.abstract	In this thesis the author raised "The Role of the Police in the Management of Online Gambling Crimes" which aims to find out the online gambling and gambling crime in Singosari, to find out the role of the Police in the prevention of online gambling and gambling, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the handling of criminal acts online. online gambling and gambling. This type of research in this paper uses the type of empirical legal research, while the research approach uses a Sociological Approach. Collection of legal materials through the method of literature study, with primary and secondary materials, then the data collection techniques in this study are interviews and observation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Police have taken action to deal with online gambling and gambling crime in accordance with the Laws and Regulations by making pre-emptive, preventive and repressive efforts in handling countermeasures. However, in overcoming countermeasures do not escape obstacles in the form of certain elements and limited means of coping. While there are factors supporting the firmness of the design of desan and Singosari region which are still heavily religious values.
