This orchid is difficult to be cultivated through seeds because it is relatively small and does not have endosperm, so it needs cultivation efforts in vitro, which in this case requires a suitable medium ... This research aims to determine the effect of coconut water (Cocus nucifera L) with VW medium on the growth of phalaenopsis sp. Protocorm sp. P2 (15%), P3 (30%) and P4 (60%.) Added to the VW medium, carried out 5 replications (5 bottles of culture containing protocorm). This research was conducted in November 2019 until January 2020 in the Laboratory of Culture DD Orchid Nursery Network, Dadaprejo, Kab. Batu, Malang, East Java. Data parameters in this study are the number of protocorms, j number of shoots, and number of leaves, were analyzed in a completely randomized design (CRD), and the results of this study showed the number of protocorms, shoots and number of leaves, the most results were produced by the same concentration, namely treatment P1, coconut water 150 ml / L (concentration 15 %) with an average number of 64 protocorms, 14 shoots and 15.8 leaves.
