dc.description.abstractThe growing number of people in the world has a big impact on plastic waste, especially non-organic waste, because it takes decades to decompose. The problem of plastic waste is getting bigger and bigger, so a plastic waste processing equipment is needed, which is a pyrolysis tool. Pyrolysis is a method of processing plastic waste without involving oxygen in the reactor tube, processing plastic waste by the method of pyrolysis has superiority does not cause smoke and can reduce plastic waste in a short time. This research method, using a type of plastic (LDPE) weighing 500 grams, with a variety of coolants and without coolers for 30 and 60 minutes. The results of the data processing analysis of the pyrolysis process of plastic waste, time and temperature are very influential on how much or how little oil is produced, the use of a cooler and not using a cooler can affect the color and fuel yield. The length of the path to the condenser tube also affects the fuel flowrate. The longer the path to the condenser tube the longer the condensation process, the longer the fuel produced and vice versa. The result of the fuel is more clear using cooling than without cooling.
