Title: A Website-Based Tongue Twister Learning Model to Improve Student’s Pronunciation in Senior High School 3 Banjarmasin During Pandemic

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve students' pronunciation skills by using a website-based tongue twister learning model as an alternative media in online English learning in the pandemic era which also aims to help students' problems such as students' weak pronunciation plus the difficulty of learning pronunciation online so that it can make it easier teachers in teaching pronunciation then this model is also intended to support the learning from home program that was implemented by the government when this research was made. The subjects of this study were 108 students of class II majoring in science at SMAN 3 BANJARMASIN. This type of research is research and development. The learning model was developed using the ADDIE research and development model and data collection techniques were carried out by giving questionnaires through Google Form and tests (pretest and posttest) through the WhatsApp application. The data were analyzed and interpreted through the calculation of the Guttman scale. The results showed that most of the second grade students majoring in science in pronunciation skills at SMAN 3 BANJARMASIN experienced an increase in the results of the students' pronunciation skills where 2 people got a score of zero, 14 people got a score of 25, 66 people got a value of 50, 24 people got a score of 75 and 1 person gets a value of 100 and from the number of correct questions 3 people get a value of 10, 1 person gets a value of 20, 4 people get a value of 30, 8 people get a value of 40, 9 people get a value of 50, 56 people get a value of 60, 12 people got a score of 70, 13 people got a score of 80, and finally 2 people got a value of 90 with an average score on 4 aspects of pronunciation of 51 and the overall score of the answers got a value of 58 with a percentage of 58.8% in the pre-test and while in the posttest From the aspect of pronunciation, 2 people get a score of 25, 17 people get a score of 50, 59 people get a score of 75 and 30 people get a score of get a score of 100 and from the number of correct questions, 2 people get a score of 40, 6 people get a score of 50, 11 people get a score of 60, 17 people get a score of 70, 38 people get a score of 80, 18 people get a score of 90 and 16 people get the value of 100 with an average value of 4 aspects is 77 and the average correct value is 78 with a percentage of 78.4% so that the increase in student success from before and after using learning media is 20%. So the results of this study indicate that the use of a website-based tongue- twister learning model can improve students' pronunciation skills. Keywords: Tongue-twister, pronunciation, website.
