Kualitas Vegetasi Zona Riparian dengan Menggunakan Index of Riparian Quality di Kawasan Wisata Coban Talun Kota Batu, Jawa-Timur
Abstract
Riparian vegetation on the banks of the river is a plant that grows along the river bank with
morphological, physiological and reproductive characteristics that adapt to the humid
environment. This region has differences from other regions due to its environment and
waters. The purpose of this research is to know the types and to know the relationship
between environmental parameters and the diversity of riparian vegetation in the tourist
area of Coban Talun, Batu. The study was conducted in November-March 2020, in the
upper reaches of the Brantas Coban Talun river in the city of Batu. Riparian vegetation
consists of 88 species with 42 families. Based on the Importance Value Index (INP) with
the dominant result at station 2, namely the Shorea leprosula species with a value of 46.9%
Shannon-Wienner Diversity Index with the dominant result at station 1 with a value of
2.55% and the QBR index showing 3 stations having vegetation quality values Different
riparians at stations 1 and 2 fall into the very good category under natural conditions with a
score of 95 and at station 3 of good quality and there are disturbances with a score of 80.
Abiotic factors observed include soil pH and soil conductivity.
