Abstract:
Learning is a learning process that cannot be separated from the use of teaching materials. The teaching material used must be able to attract student interest and improve learning outcomes. Teachers must be creative in adjusting to technological developments as an alternative source of learning. Electronic teaching materials can be used because it is more practical, effective, and efficient. Appropriate collaboration between teaching materials, approaches, models, strategies, and learning methods will achieve maximum learning goals.
One strategy that can be applied is to use a Creative-Productive Learning Strategy. Wena (2018: 139) revealed that the Creative-Productive Strategy is a strategy developed by referring to various learning approaches that are assumed to be able to improve the quality of teaching and learning process. Creative-Productive Strategies can be used for learning aimed at producing products. One product that can be produced is writing poetry texts which are taught in class X of SMA / SMK.
The aims of this research and development are (1) to determine the need for electronic teaching materials to write poetry texts with creative-productive learning strategies for class X vocational students, (2) develop electronic poetry text teaching materials with creative-productive learning strategies for class X vocational students, (3) knowing the feasibility of developing electronic teaching materials writing poetry texts with creative-productive learning strategies for class X vocational students, and (4) knowing the effectiveness of developing electronic teaching materials writing poetry texts with productive creative learning strategies for class X vocational students.
The results of product validation and trial indicate that the teaching material produced is feasible to be implemented. Based on the results of the validation of design experts, material experts, and practitioners, this teaching material is suitable for use in class X SMK students. Test of Indonesian material experts and practitioners on the content aspect by showing values of 87.5 and 87.5% (very feasible). In the aspect of presentation, the results of validation from development design experts and practitioners showed values of 96% and 92% (very feasible). In the aspect of language, material experts and practitioners show values of 92% and 100% (very feasible). In the graphic aspect, the validation results from the development design experts and practitioners showed values of 91% and 94% (very feasible).
The results of the effectiveness test showed an increase in learning outcomes in the four basic competencies that were tested. The difference between the average value of pretest and posttest on basic competency is 3.16, 21.750 where the value of t arithmetic (13.714) is greater than t table (2.0932). The average value of pretest and posttest in basic competence 4.16 has a difference of 16,650 where the value of t arithmetic (15,534) is greater than t table (2,0932). In the basic competence of 3.17, the difference between the average value of pretest and posttest is 16,700 where the value of t arithmetic (11,087) is greater than t table (2.0932). In the basic competence of 4.17, the difference in the average value of pre-test and post-test, which is 21.850 where t arithmetic (14.529) is greater than t table (2.0932). All of the above results indicate that the use of poetry text electronic teaching materials can improve the learning outcomes of class X vocational high school students
