| dc.description.abstract | Women can indeed be called creatures created by Allah SWT very
unique and special, how not, from the time a woman is born until she marries she
becomes the heaven's determination for her father, when she is married she has an
important role in her husband's success journey, and when he already has children
then , heaven has become a part of it.
The wife is a figure in the household that is very important, she can be a
leader in domestic affairs, and can also be a driver of success for her husband.
Thus the wife must be protected in the form of rights and functions. When a
woman marries she has become the wife of a husband, when becoming a wife she
also increases about her obligations and rights. The wife's obligation is to obey
and obey her husband to the limit as long as the husband does not violate the rules
of the law that have been determined and the wife's right is to get treatment and
responsibility from her husband in accordance with the position and functions
given to the wife. .
The fact is that in the community there are still most women who are
seen as not satisfied with the income needs provided by their husbands so that
they decide to work outside the home, as a result, their position and function are
slightly shifted and lack in proper application to the wife. The incident about the
wife's position and function as a household occurred in Ngenep Village,
Karangploso District, Malang Regency.
The context of the problem in focus is how the position and function of
the wife in the household in Ngenep Village, Karangploso District, Malang
Regency, how Islamic religion views the position and function of the wife in the
household in Ngenep Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency and how the
positive legal view of the position and function of the wife in households in
Ngenep Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency.
Methods of data analysis using a descriptive qualitative approach. The author
analyzes the rights and position and function of the wife in Ngenep Village,
Karangploso District, Malang Regency. Where in this era many husbands have
started to not pay attention and underestimate the laws and rules of law that
protect the rights of a wife.
The results of this study indicate that the location of the position and
function of the wife in the household are mostly laid very well by the husband to
his wife. Thus the goal of achieving happiness in life and dreams of creating a
sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah family is very likely to be achieved.
