Abstract

There are three statement problems in this research. First, how is the process of the land mastery of the coast reclamation in Patereman village, Modung district, Bangkalan. Second, how is the rights status of land mastery of the coast reclamation by the people of Patereman village, Modung district, Bangkalan. Third, how is the legal protection of the land mastery of the coast reclamationby the societies of Patereman village, Modung district, Bangkalan in Agrarian Essential Law perspective. The kind of this research was empirical law research with the statue approach and social macro approach. The researcher used the primary and secondary sources or the data sources. The methods of sources collection was interview, observation, and documentation. The conclution of this research is the process of land mastery of the coast reclamation by the societies of Patereman village, Modung district, Bangkalan was by permission to the headman to claim the land to be mastered. The land mastery of the coast reclamation status, according to the law of local people and national land law was mastering since hereditary and usufruct status. The legal protection of the land mastery of the coast reclamation by the societies of Patereman village is by the ownership. Keywords: Land Mastery, Reclamation, Coastal
