dc.description.abstract	One of the things that students must fulfil to finish the subject in their semester is completing their assignments. Before the pandemic collecting assignments was very easy because the students can meet face to face with their lecturer to collect the assignment. Nowadays, learning is slightly held due to the covid 19 pandemic that requires study at home or online learning. This research is carried out to investigate the problems and challenges faced by students when collecting assignments given by lecturers during the online teaching and learning process. It is also to see how big the impact of using Edmodo can solve their assignments problems during online learning. Hence, the researcher involved three English students who have used Edmodo to completing their assignments. The data was collected by conducting an interview. The researcher used semi-structured interviews to collect the data in getting deeper information needed for this study. As results, the problems faced by English students are network problem and problem in understanding the learning material delivered by the lecturer. However, they could resolve the problem and continue their online learning using Edmodo. All of the respondents claimed that using Edmodo helped them finish their online learning. They emphasized how useful Edmodo is for gaining access to educational resources. Additionally, every respondent mentioned that Edmodo has a positive impact because it makes it easier for students to collect assignments given by the lecturer and quite easy to acces Because it may be used on a laptop or a phone, Edmodo is incredibly useful. Another respondent asserted that Edmodo is a great tool for gathering college assignments because it has all the capabilities students require to gather assignments in pdf, word, video, etc. It can be concluded that the use of Edmodo by English Education students for completing their assignments during the pandemic COVID 19 is very helpful and gives positive impacts. For further researchers, the researcher would like to recommend that the following researchers do the same research in the other aspects, such as on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Line or to find and use applications that do not have problems in networking. It is know, social media is viral among various ages, especially adolescents. It has a significant impact on them, particularly in research.
